Here are some pictures of the nearly completed prototype. Each of the custom parts were printed in ABS plastic using a Dimension 3D printer. All of the parts have been cut and drilled according to the plans. The only portion of the project remaining before completion is the insulation of the outer walls of the rails using insulating varnish and wiring of the capacitor to the rails. The prototype is comfortable to hold, however, between the stainless steel rails and the capacitor it weighs almost ten pounds. The Picatinny RIS looks very nice and is entirely functional.
